Blogging time again! We've just had a really successful Indian Head Massage taster day at the Assembly Rooms in Ludlow. Sixteen people enrolled and there's a waiting list so clearly this is a very popular therapy and not difficult to learn. We'll run it again soon and a follow-up Indian Head with Oils workshop. I'm thinking of doing a monthly Sunday afternoon workshop - definitely better than slaving over a hot iron or microwave.
Dates for the ITEC Indian Head Massage Diploma Course are confirmed now - click on course calendar. We're starting on the weekend of the 30th/31st January 2010 and completing in June. You need to do five full days and an exam day. Anatomy and Physiology is extra - depending on what you've done before. Places available at the moment.
Places also available on the ABC Reflexology Diploma which starts on the 17th October - last chance to enrol coming up!
So it's all looking pretty busy at the moment! Before I immerse myself in the world of holistics for another year I'm packing my best hat and dashing off to the Earls Court Wedding Show to promote my son's wedding video company. Can't wait!

Is that the end of summer then? Still hoping for the odd sunbeam or two to filter through before getting out the woolly socks and fleeces.
It's back-to-school time next week with the penultimate session for my lovely reflexology diploma group. The end's definitely in sight after a vast amount of hard work and hundreds of feet. What'll I do without them? Well - it'll soon be time to start all over again with a new group on October 17th - there are still places available so contact me for details.
The other big piece of news is our recent successful accreditation with ITEC. I'm really excited about this as we can now offer an Indian Head Massage ITEC Diploma Course, which I know is hugely popular. I'm aiming to start the course at the end of January for completion in June - dates to be confirmed.
The ITEC Anatomy and Physiology Diploma Course will also be available as a rolling series of seminars through the year. A sound knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology is vital for any therapist and this offers the best possible foundation for your studies.
The new Indian Head Course page will shortly appear on my website as soon as Oz (Superweb) gets his hands on my notes! I think there might be an artistic picture as well...

August already, but I'm not going to mention the weather... I seem to have spent most of the summer so far glued to my computer up-dating and re-hashing course material and having ideas. Feeling quite virtuous, so if there is a glimmer of sun at any point I'll be straight out there basking in it.
I've manged to finalise dates for my next diploma course starting in October now, and they appear on the school calendar, going through to October 2010. It's good to feel organised!
I know there's quite a bit of interest in my proposed Indian Head Massage courses and the taster afternoon is arranged for Sunday September 27th - email for details. Diploma courses are likely to start in January, but no firm dates yet.
My website continues to grow in detail and beauty - keep an eye on it for Oz's latest ideas...

It's been a period of hectic website activity! We now have a super improved sparkly new site up and running - hurrah! Oz has done wonders with it and managed to extract information from me as well as some new photos. Students aren't always enthusiastic about photo-shoots and my camera wobble doesn't help. I'm quite pleased with the one in the garden though. (See student comments page.) Alfresco reflexology on the sunniest day of the year! You can't beat it.
My lovely reflexology diploma students are having a well deserved break now for a couple of months to catch up on case studies while I'm busy making plans for next year (and snoozing.)
The next event is a reflexology taster afternoon on Sunday July 26th at Ludlow Assembly rooms. My other taster session on Sunday 27th September has turned into Indian Head massage. There are places available for both - just email for details.
I'm planning to offer an Indian Head Diploma course probably starting in January so am getting quite excited about that. Reflexology and Indian Head complement each other wonderfully. Students armed with both qualifications will have a head (and foot) start.
The next Reflexology Diploma Course is scheduled for Ludlow in October. I'm hoping for a bit more sitting in the garden before then...

Well a bit of a gap since my last blog post - but in my defence I have been busy!
The reflexology diploma course has been going really well with a lovely friendly group, including two bridging students. We're now a little past the halfway point and the students have started working with real live clients! Always scary at first but a massive confidence boost when it all goes well.
My next diploma course is scheduled to start in October so I'll shortly be putting some dates on my web calendar and doing some web spring-cleaning. Well not me personally- Oz designed my wonderful web site and looks after it for me. He also nags me when I don't up-date my blog and calendar...
Lots of plans in the offing, including an Indian Head massage diploma course and CPD courses for therapists.
I have two dates booked for reflexology taster workshops for anyone thinking of enrolling on the diploma course and wanting to dip a toe in the water instead of an entire foot! Sunday 26th July and Sunday 27th September, 2-5pm at Ludlow Assembly Rooms.
More details to follow... Watch this space!
